SD Ruby Group Logo

The challenge for this project was to avoid the typical SD sunsets, palm trees and beach scenes, while still developing a distinctly San Diego logo. As a nod to the whole Ruby community, the logo we created features a gem icon, but with a literal twist. By flipping the gem, we were able to create the very subtle, very San Diego image of a sailboat.
